I have been bounced around several doctors before I found the Vein Treatment Center for my problems. Everyone else tried to patch my problem by having me wear stockings that made my leg and ulcer worse. Doctor Karamanoukian examined me himself and took over my case and did two procedures which helped heal the ulcer. I am able to work now and no longer have a weeping ulcer in my leg. I heard about the Vein Treatment Center from the Sabres commercials and checked out the website which is chock full of great information. The videos are great and the FAQ section I found very educational. Dr. Karamanoukian had treated my own doctor which I found out later. My doctor did not know that I had seen Dr Karamanoukian since I did not need a referral. I had EVLT Never Touch by Dr karamanoukian and I can't say anything but great things - I was evaluated totally by him and not by physician extenders. He talked to me he examined me himself did the Doppler himself and explained everything himself. I was seen by him after I tried my stockings and no nonsense care. Everything was organized from A to Z and I had my procedure by him. He removed my one suture himself and saw me when I came back to the office. Total care by an expert surgeon. Excellent care. It took me 6 weeks to get in to see the doctor but once I got there I knew why he is so highly sought. I came to have lasers for my spider veins. I had spider lasers by 2 doctors in my area in Rochester and Batavia 3 years ago. The Vein Treatment Center came highly recommended by a friend who works with me. Dr Karamanoukian evaluated me and did the Doppler study and found a feeder vein that was causing the spider veins to come back so quickly. He injected it with foam sclerotherapy and the results have been outstanding. A simple injection saved me over a thousand dollars that I would have wasted getting another set of laser treatments that would not have lasted. I was sent to Sisters Hospital for evaluation and they recommended vein stripping. I saw my doctor at the Vein Treatment Center and he performed EVLT on one leg and VNUS Closure on another. The legs are so light now and they don't feel heavy and I can walk every day without eeling lousy afterwards. Dr Karamanoukian is great. I brought my mama to the Vein Treatment Center for a venous stasis ulcer - the doctor did the assessment himself and venous Doppler was done the same morning and we got a treatment plan that same morning and got her on the way to get this ulcer treated. The venous ulcer is healing nicely after the 2 procedures that Dr Karamanoukian did in the office and I am very happy that she is on the way to healing this ulcer that has nagged her and kept her at home for the last 12 months.
