I had a single procedure for a painful vein near my ankle and I was in and out on the day of surgery and was back to work that moorning. It got rid of a nagging vein that had bled twice on me. The office is very efficient and the nurses and secretaries are very helpful and compassionate. Doctor Karamanoukian is very informed and spends a lot of time explaining everything before surgery on the day of consult and even gave me a DVD to watch of what to expect during and after surgery. I am very fortunate to have taken care of my leg problems. I was sent for an evaluation to the Vein Treatment Center and the doctor diagnosed me to have a neuropathy. He sent me on the right track to see a neurologist and they were able to help me. Dr Karamanoukian was very thorough in evaluating me and did not just do surgery on my veins. He evaluated me completely and made some recommendations and tests all of which were done in his office. He performed two procedures and my leg swelling and discomfort went away. I brought my elderly father to see the doctor for a venous ulcer and he treated the ulcer with local wound care and eventually performed the VNUS Closure procedure and a single EVLT procedure for a 'perforator' vein. The ulcer has nearly completely healed and the swelling has gone down so much that he is walking daily and is no longer restricted to his lazy boy couch. I had a procedure at a cosmetic center and was largely disappointed. They missed the fact that I had venous insufficiency. Once this was diagnosed and treated by Dr Karamanoukian at the Vein Treatment Center my legs have felt so much better and now I am ready to get foam sclerotherapy and laser treatments by him. I recommend that you go to a comprehensive vein treatment center as this one and not one that just looks to laser spider veins. You will be very pleased with the excellent care and staff at the Vein Treatment Center. I give them thumbs up and 5 stars. The staff is very compassionate and telephone messages are very promptly returned by the doctor.

Doctor Karamanoukian is amazing and very professional. I had a problem with my leg in Massachusetts and he helped me find a Board Certified Phlebologist who would take care of me. Lots of compassion and caring. He even called me by phone to discuss the prolem so that he could find someone who could take care of my venous stasis ulcers. I had VNUS by a doctor at Mercy Hospital 2 years ago and he told me he only deal with that procedure and not varicose veins. I was quite disappointed.
