I did my research on Google and found Dr karamanoukian and I am happy I did because he found during my consultation that it was my heart that was giving me leg swelling and not my veins. He is very thorough and I absolutely loved how he listened to my heart and examined my legs and listened to what I had to say. He explained things very clearly and did some diagnostic tests that explained why I was having problems. He referred me to the Cleveland Clinic and they were able to fix my heart valve. I love his approach and no nonsense way of doing things. I recommend him without hesitation.

I had EVLT Closure on both of my legs. The left leg was treated first and I did experience some pain and bruising. It took me a few days to get back to normal. The right leg was a totally different experience. It was less painful with minimal bruising. I was back to normal right away. The procedure itself was not painful just a few pricks in the leg and all was numb. Dr K. and his staff made sure the experience was comfortable. I would highly recommend The Vein Treatment Center.

I had a great consultation by the doctor who spent just over an hour doing the whole thing including a venous Doppler and explanation which was very very thorough. I left the office believing in what they are advertising about - comprehensive care and with great compassion by all the staff and esp the doctor. He even gave me a DVD and references to other websites. Totally impressed by what I saw at the Vein Treatment Center and I am eager to start my treatment plan. My aunt was treated at the hyperbaric chamber at a local hospital for a while without healing of a venous ulcer. One of my friends recommended Dr Karamanoukian and I brought her in for evaluation and fortunately for my aunt the doctor did everything to get it to heal. She is very fortunate to have had such a wonderful team of nurses and staff who helped her in this 3 month process. It has healed nicely and we no longer have to take her for countless doctors and specialists who just order tests and basically accomplished nothing except to prolong the weeping wound. Dr Karamanoukian has a regimen of care that she followed and he outlined all of the steps to us on day one. We followed his recommendations to the tee and I am glad that we had a positive outcome. This doctor is wonderful and has great bedside manners and is very compassionate and caring and has quite a great sense of humor and perspective on life which is wonderful. My aunt also was happy to see that he is quite a religious and faithful person. This was very important for her. I would recommend anyone to see him for vascular problems and venous ulcers.
